How to play

  1. 01

    Study the shape

Look at the country or territory outline. The shape is shown without a scale, so it could be large or small.

  2. 02

    Type a guess

Enter a valid country or territory name in the search box.

  3. 03

    Follow the clues

Each guess shows the distance to the answer, an arrow pointing towards it and a proximity percentage.

  4. 04

    Solve in six

Use the clues to home in on the answer within six attempts.

Good to know

  • How distance works. Distances are measured between the centres of countries, so even neighbours can show a large gap.
  • Bonus rounds. After the main puzzle you can try bonus rounds on the target's neighbours, capital, flag and more.
  • Not the same as Wordle. Worldle has no association with Wordle; it was created by French developer Antoine Teuf.
