NerdleLogic

Nerdle
Nerdle is like a word puzzle but with numbers: the answer is a calculation, not a word. After each guess, the tiles change colour to show how close you were.

How to play
- 01
Enter a calculation
Each guess must be a valid calculation using 0-9, +, -, *, / and exactly one '='.
- 02
Keep the answer simple
Only a number can go to the right of the '=', not another calculation.
- 03
Read the tiles
Tiles show whether each character is in the right spot, in the solution but in the wrong spot, or not in the solution at all.
- 04
Solve in six
Use the clues to find the hidden calculation within six guesses.
Good to know
- Order of operations. Standard order applies, so * and / are worked out before + and -, meaning 3+2*5=13.
- Commutative answers. If the answer is 10+20=30, then 20+10=30 is accepted too, unless you turn this off in Settings.
- Other sizes. Variants include mini (six tiles), micro (five tiles), maxi, speed and instant.
