How to play

   Take the daily dive

   Every day there are seven prompts, and everyone gets the same seven.

2. 02

   Go obscure

   Any valid answer counts, but the rarer it is, the deeper you sink. The answer everyone thinks of first barely moves you.

3. 03

   Hunt for the Krillion

   Each prompt hides one gem answer, picked for rarity and for how satisfying it is to land on. Watch out for “too clever”: the go-to obscure pick that turns out not to be obscure at all.

4. 04

   See how deep you got

   Compare your dive with friends. How far down can you go?

Good to know

• Spelling is forgiving. Autocorrect also checks alternate names, so being a letter off can occasionally match an answer you didn't expect.
• More than the daily. There's also an unlimited mode, an archive of past dives, and themed packs.
• Free to play. Unlocking any pack turns ads off across the whole site.
